Customer Reviews A little weak in places, but it's still VENOM But only a little. I've been waiting for this CD for a long time, so when I finally got it, I was just slightly disappointed. It's great that Cronos,Antton & new/old guitarist Mykvs (a. k. a. Mike Hickey, from 87's "Calm Before the Storm") are still going. However, the album is missing the razor-sharp riffs of original guitarist, Mantas. The whole thing is like the equivalent of getting hit over the head with a sledgehammer. The mix could be just a little better, but overall, I can't really complain. My personal favorite tracks here are the opening one, ANTECHRIST. That'll get your blood pumpin'. Other great ones are: DEATH & DYING; [. . . ]; BLESSED DEAD; MALEFICARVM & the title track, METAL BLACK. The other tracks could have used a little more work, but as I said, it's still great to have a new VENOM CD. BUY IT!!!.
not too shabby
