Long Live The Verve!
My favorite track (at least for now) would have to be "Numbness" - very moody and ethereal, and has a Pink Floyd-ish quality about it. This is an amazing recording by The Verve, and we are fortunate that they have reunited! "Forth" has a very nice flow from start to finish and I typically listen to the CD in its entirety. This CD holds up very well with the rest of their catalogue, and is one of the best releases of the past year by any artist or band, IMHO.

In regard to the the Japanese CD + DVD release, the DVD includes the "Space and Time" documentary and (5) live song performances from the Coachella Festival - all tracks played on my USA (Region 1) DVD player without any problem. When I first put the DVD in my DVD player, it automatically began playing the documentary, but when I pushed the "menu" button on the remote, then a list of all tracks (documentary + 5 Coachella concert songs) appeared on screen.

The music CD is the primary reason to purchase "Forth" in any format (and the Japan release includes 2 additional songs), but the DVD is definitely a worthy bonus, and well worth picking up for devoted fans. Enjoy! .


DVD is not what it says on the box!
I was very excited to receive the box set and it's very nice. . . . . However the DVD (the reason I bought the box set) is advertised as featuring a documentary and a Live at Coachella Set, but the Live set is missing from the DVD and only the documentary exists. . . . this may be an issue with the entire pressing. . .
Nice collectors item but a shame the DVD is not complete.
