Unlike others who have fallen before them the Violent Femmes continue to deliver yet again new and wonderful sounds. Will young Gano & Richie ever fall into that dreaded pop music pit? Thanks God, they have not. As we have come to expect this album covers all taste and yet ever track will satisfy. If you're not hooked on all 15 tracks of Freak Magnet take the album back for a refund. Who needs you?

What's that your say, your still not convinced. This is not a best hits or a live recording. This is a total new work.

I have only two complaints. The CD cover art is magic except the color does not work well where the track titles are printed Lime Green on Sky Blue. The print simply cant be read. That aside my other problem was, which track shall I listen to first? It truly is that good.
