Customer Reviews killer classic speed/power metal from the real warrant, not the cheesy hair band , this is real metal this warrant here is the real deal and are not in no way a glam band. nothing makes me happier than finding a old classic metal release ive never heard of before to add to my collection, every one assumes when you mention warrant that you are talking about jani lane and crew from the glam-hair band that brought us the ballad heaven and the anthem where the down boys go. now i like some glam bands but i much rather have my power metal, the glam warrant had some pretty good songs like uncle toms cabin, that was a killer pure metal anthem but sadly most of their music was cheesy love ballads, well lets leave the glam warrant behind and make way for the real warrant. this band was named warrant long before the cherry pie boys named their band warrant, so if any one says these guys stole the glam rockers name they are very mistaken and it is really the other way around. now for all you true metallians looking for a nice rare addition of pure untainted true metal to add to your collection then try this band out. if metal church and old metallica is your cup of tea then you will be glad you found this. not my favorite band but still has some great moments and some nice metal anthems to bang your head to. so many of these bands from those days were awesome and should have been way bigger than the glam movement. look back to bands like malice,warlord,overlorde,obsession,liege lord,and even burning starr, those bands had killer songs that were way better than anything the glam scene was dishing out, keep in mind i like glam metal and own a ton of it but as i said before this band along with others i mentioned and others like helloween and runnning wild, rage, grave digger,king diamond and many others,well this is where the true heart of metal lies in its purest and best form. power metal is amazing, you have so many kinds like symphonic,prog,epic,mid evil, black,traditional,classic,nwobhm,speed,thrash,and many other styles that all get their main vibe from this form of metal and all are true metal. now if you think that korn and staind and even rage against the machine are true metal then you dont even need to be on this page because that is the crap the media throws out to all the fad followers and posers and that is what eats up the radios and your mtv, it is sad because the real deal true metal is right under your nose. these bands are what metal is all about, korn and limp bizkit are posers and are in no way what metal is all about. some say that is what metal has evolved to, but if you ask me metal has evolved into bands like paragon and sonata arctica,or symphony x. see friends true metal never died you just have to know where to look and today there are tons of killer metal bands out there keeping the spirit of bands like warrant and others alive,so go check them out and check out this cd as well, your friend in metal, brandon whitson, 25 of north carolina. warrant from germany i have been searching for years for this and was well worth it. very fast paced and non stop energy. enjoy.
