Weezer - El Scorcho Audio CD

A fair review of the Weezer "El Scorcho" Audio CD. Please note that the below review is the views of the authors, and authors only. You can get a complete list of all Weezer reviews here, or go back to the Weezer tabs.

Weezer Band: Weezer
Title: El Scorcho
Rating:
Release Date: 1996-09-19
Media: Audio CD

Tracks: 1: Scorcho [LP Version] 2: You Gave Your Love to Me Softly [Remix][#] 3: Devotion [#]

Worth the money for two excellent Pinkerton era b-sides
'Deovotion' has a sort of Brian Wilson on grunge feel to it, while 'YGYLTMS' is uptempo with roaring guitars and a whole lot of energy. 'Devotion' and 'You Gave Your Love To Me Softly' are both great weezer songs.

A must own for hard core weezer fans.

=W= Weezer's El-Scorcho
It is out of print and only a number remain left. This cd is obviously a very wise buy. It not only has a full version of El Scorcho (hit on Pinkerton) but live tracks as well. And when you live in a town with not too much popularity, live imports are as good as you get. So go ahead, order this import, buy a poster, and sit down and listen to some good ol geek rock!!.
