AMERICA......WE WERE DEPRIVED!!!!! THESE GUYS ARE FANTASTIC!!!!!!
ITS A VERY COMPETITIVE, AND LUCRATIVE MARKET. THE US MARKET IS THE TOUGHEST TO BREAK, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. WE HAVE A HUGE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY HERE, WITH A CONSTANT FLOW OF NEW MUSIC, NEW MOVIES, AND NEW T. V. PROGRAMS, WHICH SADLY, LEAVES LITTLE ROOM FOR OVERSEAS "STUFF"(IN THE EYES OF THE "INDUSTRY", ANYWAY) THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE FOR MOST OTHER COUNTRIES. THEY END UP IMPORTING.

ANYWAY, THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT WE SOMETIMES MISS OUT ON A GOOD THING. A REAL GOOD THING. LIKE WESTLIFE. THESE GUYS ARE SIMPLY AWESOME IN MY BOOK. AND LET ME TELL YOU, I AM NOT EASILY IMPRESSED. IF YOU'RE A "HEADBANGER" OR A HARDCORE "HIP HOP" TYPE, YOU NEED NOT APPLY, BUT IF YOU APPRECIATE FANTASTIC HARMONY, FANTASTIC VOCALS, AND BEAUTIFUL LYRICS, YOU'LL LOVE IT. I LISTEN TO EVERYTHING. . . . . COUNTRY, POP, HIP-HOP, CLASSICAL, ECT. . . . AS LONG AS ITS GOOD MUSIC. THIS IS GOOD MUSIC.
SO FAR, I HAVEN'T HEARD A WESTLIFE SONG THAT I DON'T LIKE. THEY COULD RELEASE THE "ALPHABET SONG" AND I WOULD PROBABLY ENJOY IT, LOL.

AND FOR THE LADIES, I JUST HAVE TO ADD. . . . . THESE GUYS ARE VERY EASY ON THE EYES. ICING ON THE CAKE, BABY. WHEN I STUMBLED ONTO THESE GUYS ON THE NET, I KEPT THINKING. . . . . "AMERICA GOT N'SYNC AND THE BACKSTREET BOYS, WHILE THE REST OF THE WORLD GOT THESE HOTTIES!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!" I NEVER DID GET ALL THE FUSS OVER ANY OF THOSE GUYS, BUT WHEN I GOT A LOAD OF WESTLIFE, THE FUSS SEEMED EVEN MORE ABSURD. WESTLIFE WOULD HAVE BEEN BIG IN THE U. S. IF THEY HAD BEEN PROPERLY MARKETED OVER HERE. THEY WOULD HAVE HAD A BIGGER MARKET TOO. AND THEY ARE STILL AROUND.

GO WESTLIFE. KEEP ON, KEEPIN' ON.

amazing collection
the excelent collection of the greatest hits of the first albums of Westlife, if you are fan you defenitive have to buy this album!!!

songs as Flying without wings also duet with Christian Castro, swear it again, if I let you go, etc. .

Better than you could expect
19 tracks plus 1 bonus track "Flying without wings (feat. If you like pop music and ballads, this compilation is for you. Cristian Castro)" - note that this is the Argentinian import. 6 of them are new songs only included on this cd: I recommend "Unbreakable", "Tonight" - they were released as cd singles - and "Written in the stars", my favourite one. The guys' voices are amazing and the songs remain fresh seven years later. The audio quality is good and the disc comes in a standard jewel case.

Love them!
I agree with the previous reviewer. . I have no idea why they haven't caught on more in the states. Their harmony is amazing. Listening to them alone on my Bose system is pretty much my idea of excstacy. I typically hate "boy bands" however these guys can actually sing. .
