Good Music - But Vintage Wet Willie
Jimmy Hall and Ricky Hirsch are missing. Something is very different from the Wet Willie we all loved so much in the 70's. Ric Seymore is lead vocals as well as lead guitar. Ric is a very talented young man, but he cannot possibly replace Jimmy Hall on vocals, sax and harp while attempting to replace Ricky Hirsch on guitar. Ricky Hirsch was every bit the Wet Willie signature that Jimmy Hall was. Jack and Donna Hall are in there doing an excellent job along with the veterans John Anthony on keys and T. K. Lively on the skins - but as the song Easy Street proclaims: You can't get there from here.

This is actually the same CD as "High Humidity" with a different cover and song sequence.

If you're after vintage Wet Willie that rocks, get the Drippin' Wet or Left Coast Live CD and have yourself a ball. .

Where's Willie?
It's a mystery band with no perfomers credited in the notes. This is a pretty good live performance but it doe not sound like Jimmy Hall singing. It's called The Wet Willie Band, not Wet Willie, some kind of a difference I'm sure. I saw the original Wet Willie in the 70's and it still ranks in the top 10 concerts of my lifetime. Jack and Jimmy Hall ruled the stage. Jack's bass lines were the best and Jimmy Hall is easily one the greatest performers around , still!!.
