Awesome CD
It is rockin'. All I have to say is the Climb To Safety with Derek Trucks is one of the best jams I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. BUY THIS SET!!.

A Classic for the cities.
That led me to purchase this 3 cd set, and I will never regret it. This was my first experience with Widespread Panic, besides a song I enjoyed named Tall Boy. Every disc is wonderful, esp. the 3rd. I became a huge Panic fan after listening to this album almost non-stop for months. Do yourself a favor, and pick this up if you don't have it. .

Great initiation for the unexposed!!!
Having heard OF them. A friend of mine invited me to see Widespread at a show in Milwaukee. . . but never having actually HEARD anything by them, I thought I should pick up something by them so I'd be familiar with some of the music at that show.
So I got "Live in the Classic City", figuring three discs would provide a solid sample of what I could expect. Well, it did just that, and more. Needless to say. . . the concert blew me away, AND I've bought everything WP did before and since.
The world misses Mikey Houser, but, George McConnell has was it takes to carry the torch. Long live WP!!!! .

Jamming
The Grateful Dead, Phish are gone but not forgotten. This jams, WSP is the number one Jam band in the world right now, no band can match the awsome magic that is produced here. WSP will be touring many moons from now, keep jamming.
Eastcoast Phil.

"Phish for Dummies"
It is sad that people are so desperate for a scene that they will delude themselves into enjoying this. Again I've heard this album due to the insistence by my friends who are now to cool for Phish (becase everyone else is doin' it)and I find their songs all sound the same boring one-chord grooves that are straight off of a toyota commercial, lame guitar riffs and lyrics that say nothing.
