Customer Reviews
A most excellent CD! Party on Dudes!
It is indeed a most excellent CD; it's that good. I'm a huge Bill & Ted fan, for I absolutely love the movies! I also absolutely love the music, it is indeed most excellent!

This soundtrack is to the Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Every song is excellent, and not a single one is bad at all; a perfect CD with lots of classics! I'll list why each song is great, or not so great, and also where they can be found in the movie.

1. Play with Me - Extreme = (This can be found: When the historical figures are running amok at the San Dimas Mall. ) One of my favorite scenes in the movie! This is one of my all time favorite songs on the entire CD! It's filled with lots and lots of guitar, that's gonna make you wanna play along; even if you got an air guitar! Also for Guitar Hero fans, you can find this song on Guitar Hero Rock the 80's! 10/10

2. The Boys and the girls are doing it - Vital Signs (This can be found: When Napoleon discovers the joy of watersliding at Waterlo Water Slide park. ) One of my absolute favorite scenes in the entire movie; got to love Napoleon! This is one of my all time favorite songs on the entire CD, that always makes me sing along to, as well as jam along to it! As Napoleon would say, it's Fantastique! 10/10

3. Not so Far Away - Glen Burtnick = (It's a bit difficult to make out, but it's in the background during Bill and Ted's final history report starting from the time when Freud is analyzing Ted. ) This is a geat ballad, and is excellent to sing along to! One of my new favorites! 9/10

4. Dancing with a Gypsy - Tora Tora = (This can be found: Playing on the car stereo when Missy stops by Ted's house after picking Bill and Ted up from school. ) This was a pretty good song, and I had to realize where it was at in the movie at first. It's got a nice groove, and will make you jam along as well! 9/10

5. Father Time - Shark Island = (This can be found: As Missy's car pulls away from Ted's house and throughout the forming of the phone booth in the future as Rufus looks on. ) Another one of my favorite scenes in the movie! This is indeed one of my all time favorite songs on the entire CD! Awesome singing, lyrics, and killer guitar riffs! As Rufus and the 3 Great Ones would say: Be excellent to each other, and party on dude! 10/10

6. I can't break away - Big Pig = (This can be found: Over the opening credits when the future crystal which will form the phone booth comes down. ) I can't believe what some people say about this song; the reviews on here say people don't like it! Forget I said that! This song is indeed without a doubt one of the greatest songs on the entire CD. If you are a true Bill & Ted, you would know what I mean if you watch the beginning of the movie! It always gets me singing, and jamming along! It a song that can easily get stuck inside your head; trust me, it does! LOL! :D 10/10

7. Dangerous - Shark Island = (When Missy brings Bill and Ted burned grilled cheese sandwiches while they're studying in Bill's room until Bill's dad kicks Bill out of his own room. ) Another one of my favorite scenes in the movie; "It's your mom dude!" "I just got a minor oedipal complex!"! LOL! This is indeed one of my all time favorite songs on the entire CD! Shark Island is indeed a most excellent band! 10/10

8. Walk Away - Bricklin = (This can be found: When Billy the Kid comes onstage at San Dimas High to introduce Bill & Ted and during the first part of their history report. ) You'll tell right away when this song starts it comes from that scene! "How's it goin, I'm Billy the Kid. I would like you all to put your hands together!" so put you hands together for one awesome song on this CD. It is indeed good! 10/10

9. In Time - Robbie Rob = (When Bill and Ted visit the future and the future babes and dudes come out to greet them. Also at the end of the movie when Rufus visits and brings the princess babes and Bill and Ted find out about their most unprecedented future success. ) This is without one of the greatest songs on the CD, and it's also to one of the best scenes in the entire movie! You can't just help yourself playing air guitar to this song! Be excellent to each other, and party on dudes! 10/10

10. Two heads are better than one - Power Tool (When Bill and Ted are picking up Joan of Arc, Genghis Khan and Abraham Lincoln in the phone booth and again over the end credits. ) This is without a doubt one of the most bodacious songs on the entire CD. An excellent rock anthem, and for those true Bill & Ted fans, you'll want to sing and jam to this song just about every day! This song is a winner in my book! 10/10

If you absolutely love the Bill & Ted movies and music, get this CD; you just may like it!

And most importantly, do not listen to this CD without wearing headphones! And party on dudes! :D.

A most excellent album.
Its at the top of my playlist, and has been for years. I've seen the movie scores of times, but I've far eclipsed that with the number of times I've listened to the soundtrack.

Its a great snapshot of late 1980s hard rock. I can't get enough of "Father Time", "I can't break away" and "In Time" and "Play with me" has to be the most entertaining head-banger song in the world. The only track I skip is "Dancing with a Gypsy" which I know others have loved, but runs too metal for my tastes. The other songs are all great songs, but don't really stand out.

My kids now love it too (they have no choice, I'm listening to it all the time).

Best ROCK compilation EVER !!!
Sorry about the harsh words but simply put, this is the best rock compilation ever!
I get goosebumps to almost every song on this cd. If you like rock and do not have this cd you're a fool.
Here's the tracks that give me goosebumps:

1. Extreme - Play with me
2. Vital Signs - The boys and the girls
4. Tora Tora - Dancing with a gypsy
5. Shark Island - Father Time (this one is so unvelievable)
6. Big Pig - I can't break away (another super song)
7. Shark Island - Dangerous
10. Power Tools - Two heads are better than one (aaaaah)

Get this cd and have a great time.
