Simply Put So sit back (dont over analyze) and enjoy "Wilco" by Wilco. When all is said and done, one thing remains true, THIS IS WILCO's FINEST HOUR! It is one of those near perfect moments few bands ever achieve. .
I love Wilco!
I have been following them since the release of AM. Wilco is one of my top favorite bands. However, I feel really let down by their new CD. The fact is that it is really not good. I do not know how you guys can like this one. Only 2 or 3 tracks are memorable, Bull Black Nova, One Wing, and I'll Fight, the rest is bla bla bla. . . I really wanted to like this one however, I just hope Wilco find their way to being reborn with their next CD. If you don't believe me listen to Summerteeth or A Ghost is born, then listen to this stuff and you will agree. Sorry.
Fabulous
My favorite is still ghost, but this one appeals to me in a different way. Each Wilco album is unique and challenging. Still somewhat in country type of style, but with some flavoring of alternative undertones. I really enjoyed the music, but it left me wanting. . . as though they teased me, lured me. . . and then didn't totally appease my craving. This was almost like watching the last episode in a series. . . then wham. . . clip hanger. . . you're awed by the experience, want to choke the writer for not bringing the line to a conclusion. . . . but. . . but. . . you come back for more.
Another Home Run for Wilco
From the dark and twisted "I'll Fight" to the perky "Sonny Feeling", I found this record very relaxing, yet rockin at the same time! . Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than Sky Blue Sky, the lads from the windy city produce yet again! Complex cord changes throughout and progressive lyrics make this record a must for any alternative rock fan.
Wilco (the album)
My wife has practically worn it out already! . Fantastic CD - not a bad track on it.
