The best CD of RW's fantastic career... Pure genius, amazing lyrics, melodies. I would give this album a 10 if I could. . . Come Undone is one of the highlights of this masterpiece, as
is Sexed up. Enjoy!.
one of the best CD's of his career... I love every note on this CD. .
I have both the American and English release of this CD. . . there are different songs and tracking lists for the 2 versions. . . if its possible to wear a CD out, then I have practically done it with this one. . . get it, you'll love it. . . .
Radio America Just Won't Get It I was getting the oil in my car changed and I had a half an hour to kill, so I went into a record store next door. This was my introduction to Robbie Williams, and it happened by accident. I was in there for about 5 minutes when "Feel" started to play. "Great song" I thought, but didn't give it much thought. Then "Monsoon", "Sexed Up", "Get A Little High", "Come Undone", "Something Beautiful", and then the amazing "Love Somebody". WHO WAS THIS GUY??? I went to the counter and asked who's Greatest Hits album were they playing?(Yes, this CD is THAT good) 30 seconds later, I owned ESCAPOLOGY. What an amazing CD. I've since invested in all of his CDs. There are a lot of reviews here wondering why Americans don't embrace Robbie Williams the way they do in Europe. Simple. Radio stations don't play new music anymore. Classic rock won't play new albums by the old bands. Pop/hip hop stations will only play packaged, synthesized "artists". And adult contemporary stations, I don't know what their problem is. This guy should be to the 90's and today what Elton John was to the '70's. The songs are incredible, the production flawless. If you haven't discovered Robbie Williams yet, don't hesitate, buy ESCAPOLOGY now! One final word, "Love Somebody" is an incredibly haunting and beautifully arranged song. Truly a classic CD all around.
