wonderful
I have been playing this CD over and over. The service was excellent. I just love Jackie Wilson. He will always been remembered in my family.

An underrated masterpiece!!!
In my opinion, while "I Can Do Better" & "To Make A Big Man Cry" would be worth the price of admission alone (as they are my two favorite cuts), the other 10 cuts are quite priceless in their own right. This is easily one of his best albums, and confirms why Jackie was one of the greatest to come down the pike. Any listener who either knew of Jackie's greatness already or are just discovering his brillance now will be quite pleased with this album's quality.

I'm Revisiting This Recording....
. . . not only for Jackie Wilson's singing(always top-notch), but it was only recently that I found out that Motown's Funk Brothers played on this album. I listened to some of the bass lines, and it's hard to believe that James Jamerson was stretching out like this back in 1966(he was ahead of his time). For me, an easy 5.

One of Jackie's best 'soul' albums
Every track is gorgeous, from the obvious but still magical hit singles of "Whispers" and "Just Be Sincere" to the spine-chilling "Who Am I?" (-easy answer Jackie, you are the greatest) and the stunning "Tears Will Tell It All" to name a couple of highlights. This is one of Jackie's most sought after original albums in soul
circles - and it's not hard to hear why. There are 2 tracks which don't fit with the over-all feel of the LP - "The Fairest Of Them All" and "Too Much Sweet Loving", this is because they are from previous recording sessions and to allow Jackie's manager to gain from the LP's release, he placed these 2 upon it. However, these two also are great fun! If you are new to Jackie Wilson, buy this as a start and then continue to buy, he's full of surprises.
