more classics from a Great Talent
so many great songs here,but My non stopped played cut is "It only happens when I look at you". Jackie Wilson is One of the Founding Fathers of R&B/Pop Music to me and this 3rd set in his Great career showcases his versatility and incredible vocal range. I can listen to that song all day/Night. Jackie wilson was a Pre-cursor to Michael Jackson and had all the Charisma,Personality and just one of those One of a Kind talents. Smooth and his presentation was always on time. He truly is a One of a Kind artist. you can't even compare him to anybody on the real. it's great to have all of his sets, he trult left a lasting impression on my ears.

Now the review: When I saw this in my local music store, I bought it without hesistation. Unlike other compilations, this does not skip over the middle part of his soul years ( The Soul Years 1966-1975 from Brunswick Records was not bad, but I felt a handful of songs were left out). Edsel Records does a very good job with their re-issues and this is not an exception. Detailed annotation, passionate liner notes and a smooth sound will keep you satisfied. .
