30 minutes? mine is 46 minutes Now onto the music, it is great as other people have said, it is not Heart, it is Nancy Wilson and it is great!!!. I do not know if two earlier reviews were written by two idiots or two people that got shorter versions of this CD than I did, but mine is 45 minutes and 46 seconds long.
Much better than the movie!
I loathed the movie, but I like the soundtracks, and I really love Nancy Wilson's incredible score. I wish I could give this six stars. As others have noted, several of the offerings are quite short and the CD is only about 45 minutes long. But it just leaves me wanting more. Please, Nancy, give us more - an extended version would be super!.
Totally Ripped Off
Any one who puts out a CD with 21 songs on it that totals 30 minutes of music on it is the "Rippe" and the person who buys it is "Totally Ripped Off" no matter who plays on it.
Great album
However, I just noticed there are pieces of music missing off the original score for this film, 2 at least. This is a great album and what Nancy Wilson has done is superb. They are: the one playing when Drew and Claire are driving towards each other and the music when they go back to get the urn, which is the same at the end of the film. I have been looking for the first piece and have been unable to find it on this CD. Does anyone know where I might be able to hear it or find out what it's called?
- Lauren.
Song?
You know, the part where Orlando Bloom looks for Kirsten Dunst in the crowd and they kiss. I've been looking for this song that played in the end of elizabethtown. It also played in the part where Orlando and Kirsten are going up to his hotel room but then realized that they left Mitch's urn in the ballroom. Please help! :).
