Within Tempation Mother Earth A must have if you are a true W/T fan. Old stuff of W/T and just as awesome and beautiful as anyone would expect it to be from listening to their new stuff.
awsome album!
The smyphonic sounds are amazing!
Do not hesitate at all to purchase this. This is my all time favorite album.
It's perfection blows my mind!
If you a like to work out put it on your player!.
Regarding Copy-Protection Concerns
I'll update this portion of my review at a later date. After just a first listen (which isn't really enough for forming a strong opinion) I will say that this album is excellent; just what I was expecting, based on other reviews and on the fact that I own (and love) _The Heart of Everything_.
What I write to share with you now is a word about copy-protection. I think the key may be in not installing the software that is included on the CD. My computer gave me a message saying something like "some files will need to be added, do you wish to continue?" and I said no. Then I proceeded to open Audiograbber (v 1. 82) and rip all the tracks from the CD for encoding to mp3 (well, ogg vorbis, actually) for use on my Iriver Clix2. Then, just to see, I tried playing it with Windows Media Player and it plays fine. So I guess I would suggest disabling autoplay on your CD drive before you load this disc into your drive. Creating a windows restore point might be wise as well.
Hope this helps.

Exceptional
A really pleasant surprise for an old fan of Purple, Zeppelin and Heep. Exceptional album - as good (or even better) as "The Heart Of Everything". Either it is symphonic-, epic-, or female-fronted metal, doesn't matter. The music is good, the performance is amazing.
Music 4 stars, CD 2 stars
The main problem with this album is that for the listener that expects gothic heavy metal, you'll only get two or three gothic heavy metal songs and the rest is folk-song material with a slightly "larger" production. There's little else to say that other reviewers here have not said already. Think Loreena Mckennit. This isn't to say the music is bad, it's just that what we get isn't what has been advertised to us. As far as the quality of music, the problem is lead singer Sharon den Adel. She sounds fine when the music is in her range, but the higher the register the worse she gets. Deceiver of Fools is especially difficult to listen to because the automatic double tracking makes her out-of-tune voice sound even more out of tune.
But I gave this CD only two stars because of Sony's patently terrible copy protection. Nine times out of ten the player you put your disc in can't play it well, and if you put it in your PC you will be commanded to install software. DON'T DO THAT. Who knows what spyware Sony wants to pile on you? Instad, download a program like VLC Player that can play the CD without extra software. The CD case itself warns that Macs and other non-PC systems can't play the CD, but VLC Player should play it.
It's a shame BMG saw fit to ruin this CD by putting their copy protection on it. It seems that it never occurred to them that doing so would make people not want to buy it.
