A Great CD
Clear description and a shipment with no problems. This was a perfect deal. Communication was not a problem.

not as good silent force but...
Still do I love most of the songs on the heart of everything disc. This cd was not as good as the Silent Force CD but lets face what cd is? That was just an exceptional cd. The crossing is one of my favorites because of its unusual style.

Heavier than Silent Force
A little heavier sounding than their Silent Force album that I have, but equally good. Very good album. .

An intersting album.
I was hopeing for Within Temptation to rediscover their metal root in this album, but thats okay, I still love it!
Lead singer Sharon den Adel is amazingly awesome like always! And the rest of the band is great to!

What Have You Done- 6/10 This song is just begging Evanescence fans to critize Within Temptation (which is, in my opinion a far better band) By far one of my least favorite songs by Within Temptation. I really love this album, I really do. I like this version better than the other one, just because of the intro; Its longer and focuses on Sharon's voice. The balence of voices was nice, but it sounded like some other rock band, not the symphonic metal band I've grown to love. In short, its ugsome.

Forgiven-10/10 A really sweet song. Sharon's voice is amazing, as are the lyrics' my favorite being "See the clouds drifting away, still the sun won't warm my face" Although probably not my favorite on the album, I can't find anything wrong with it!

The Truth Beneth The Rose-7. 9/10 At first I didn't really like this song, but after a few listens, it began to grow on me.

Stand My Ground- 7. 5/10 Originally off Within Temptation's last album, The Silent Force. This was the second WT song I ever heard, but its not my favorite and it sticks out on this album.

All I Need- 7. 9/10 This song is pretty, it isn't as emotional as Forgiven, but its worth listening to.

Final Destination- 7/10 First of all: get Sharon's high soprano voice out of you head. Her voice is very low in this song. Its kind of refreshing.

The Cross- 9. 8/10 One of my favorite songs in general. Sharon's voice is amazing (as always). The tune is very pretty.

Hand of Sorrow- 8. 5/10 This is one of those songs that I'll listen to over and over again, just to get a little more meaning out of it.

The Heart of Everthing- 8. 51/10 Sharon doesn't start singing until 57 sec. into the song, bringing back the long intros I had grown fond of during TSF. A pretty good song. Lyrics are good to ponder over.

Our Solemn Hour- 10/10 A great song! Its probably my favorite off this album. The speech by Winston Churchhill was a nice touch. My only problem with this song is that a lot of people think that WT is trying to make a religious statement. "Santus Espirtus" or great/holy spirit, a phrase sung throughout the song, to me is more of a cry to a greater being than to God.

Frozen- 8. 5/10 Pretty different from their earlier stuff, but I don't really mind it here. The music video is great, even if you don't like the song you should check it out. This song is very inspiriring

What Have You Done (US single version)-5/10 Basically the first song,
minus the intro that I liked, Why must bands feel like they need to change for the US?

The Howling- 10/10 Although this song was written for the MMG (is that what you call it? I'm no video game person) Chronicles of Spellborn, I've found it has meaning far beyond, but I'm not going to tell you what it is, thats for you to find out. Its a fantastic song

Although some die-hard Enter and Mother Earth fans will be displeased by this album, its a great starting album for Americans who aren't used to genre, and for fans with an open mind to change.

.

great CD
"Frozen" is my favorite track off of it but I really like "What Have you Done" too. This is a great CD. The lyrics are really good and it is heavier than "Mother Earth. " I don't like it has much as "Silent Force" but almost. .
