A Fun album where even the filler track's are good!
Hellbilly Deluxe is perfect for your Halloween listening pleasure or well. . . Anytime really(:

The album is a lot of fun Rob is very imaginative on this one and it's a great first start after disbanding White Zombie

1. Call Of The Zombie- Good intro! Very eerie and campy a good way to start the album but seeing as it's only 30 second's I feel it would be unfair to rate it(:

2. Superbeat- Classic Zombie here with a cool video to support as well this start's off the album on a good note with a heavy guitar rift and booming drum's it's a Rob Zombie classic & a great way to start the album 5/5

3. Dragula- Probably Rob's most popular song solo wise and I do think it is over played a bit but it's a rather unique rock song equipped with horror movie sound clip's, weird sounds and interesting lyrics and it's all about a car to! That's Rob for ya 5/5

4. Living Dead Girl- Another very popular song from Rob starting off with a killer guitar rift and a thumping bass line that throw's the song into classic heavy metal territory also with some neat Arabic instrumentals in the break down 5/5

5. Perversion 99- A Filler track but a pretty neat one Rob said he wanted people to feel like what kid's felt like when listening to Revolution 9 backwards just a weird and creepy feeling and this delivers 5/5

6. Demonoid Phenomenon- A Good heavy metal beat mixed with industrial make this a pretty good song but not one of my favorites on here it is a good song just a little to techno in most of the song that got old. . . . In my opinion anyways 4/5

7. Spookshow Baby- Starting with a mariachi like guitar rift going into a dark and funs song mixing Spanish guitar and heavy metal plus some fun lyrics classic Zombie here as well! 5/5

8. How To Make A Monster- Another filler it's under two minutes but it's very punky with fast paced drum's and a fun chorus it may seem like just filler but it's actually a very good hard rock track don't skip it just cause it's short! 5/5

9. Meet The Creeper- A Good heavy metal song mixing industrial again with a cool breakdown this is a good song but. . . nothing much I can really say about it 4. 5/5

10. The Ballad Of Ressurection Joe & Rosa Whore- A Fun title of coarse mixing industrial again this song is one of the most unique on the cd with strange lyrics and a killer chorus 5/5

11. What Lurk's On Channel X- This is a good osng but. . . it's to short in my opinion only two and a half minutes it's a fast paced song with a great beat and killer drums then it just kind of stop's it's great for what it is just wish it was longer 5/5

12. Return Of The Phantom Stranger- In my opinion the best track on the album!
Starting with a Latin intro and a graveyard keyboard intro this song feel's like a short horror movie made into a five minute song I love it! 5/5

13. The Beginning Of The End- The outro just noises and other stuff a good way to end the album

This album in my opinion is a classic every track is good in one way or another even the filler only problem I had with the album is it could have been longer! But beside's that this a really fun heavy metal well worth the purchase
.

rob at the peak
don't know if he'll put one out this good again. zombie, with this has put out the best cd of his career.

If you like Rob
Does not stand out among the others but good. All I can say is if you like his other stuff you will like this one.

Introduced me to industrial metal
All my life I have been mostly a rock/pop and occasional rap album listener. I love this album. The first metal album that I liked a bit was Motley Crue's "Doctor Feelgood" but it was too 80s-ish. It turned me off it for a while. I liked Guns N Roses' song 'Welcome to the Jungle' on their album "Appetite for Destruction", but it seemed a bit too dated for someone my age. Then a zealously proud German-American friend of mine introduced me to Rob Zombie. At first I was a bit hesitant and weirded out. I was brought up in a Christian fundamentalist home. My instinct was to reject this album as "satanic" the way the media was encouraging the rejection artists like Marilyn Manson. But since I saw that my friend was still a decent, honest person and the music didn't affect him, I remained opened-minded and listened. Needless to say, I never went back. I am now a big fan of the Zombie. The music gets me in the right mood for visiting the shooting range or watching a horror flick. It's excellent to drive to, if you know what I mean!.
