Not What I Expected I only ordered it so that I could watch Rob Zombie move. Too freaky, too demonic, too disturbing. He must be the sexiest man alive. If I had been able to download a sample of this product, I would not of ordered it. Perhaps twenty years ago it would have appealed to me. .
A MUST for Zombie fans!
The DVD included with the CD contains more videos than on the PP&F version and, not only that, an UNCENSORED version of "Demonoid Phenominon" with flashed boobs galore! This is well worth owning even if you are just a casual fan! . Ignore those who say that if you already own "Hellbilly Deluxe" and/or "Past, Present & Future" you should avoid this unless you are a dedicated fan.
Pretty good
Many of the songs by Rob Zombie are included in the Twisted Metal Series games, such as Twisted Metal III and 4.
Good,but missing artwork
My big complaint is with the packaging. I prefer The Sinister Urge more, but this is still a good album even though it sounds more nu-metal than White Zombie. Why is the artwork from the original cd missing? You think they could have included it along with some new stuff.
"Hellbilly Deluxe" (squared)
"Dragula" and "Living Dead Girl" became massive hits, and were soon enough overplayed and made tons of appearances on various movie soundtracks. Rob Zombie's first solo outing since disbanding White Zombie came in 1998 with "Hellbilly Deluxe"; a surprisingly pumping and enjoyable dirge that managed to overcome the repetitiveness that would plague Zombie's later releases. This Deluxe Edition features the original album, plus a booklet of new artwork and a bonus DVD containing videos for every song directed by the man himself. What's really surprising here is that nearly eight years after it's original release, "Hellbilly Deluxe" is still worth headbanging to and still enjoyable, and it remains the best material that Rob Zombie has ever done solo (nothing will ever touch the magic he helped create in White Zombie). This is a great buy for fans who don't own the original copy of "Hellbilly Deluxe", but for those who already do, this isn't worth laying down the cash for unless you are an absolutely die hard fan.
