Describe this CD with two words – guitar album! Grooving is another keyword… And funky. There is enough tasty guitar riffs and searing solos to satisfy the most discriminating six string fan here, but without making it too much. This is the album every wannab-guitar-hero would like to do.
Band: Jeff Scheetz Band
Title: Behind the mask (2008)
Format: CD
The music is pure and clean with nice vocals, a cool bass-beat and drums in the back.
Besides his own material, Jeff also produces and or mixes various projects for other bands and he has also plays on various projects and TV commercials
There is no need to hide behind fast riffs or heavy listen-what-I-can-do chunks. Just plain simple guitar playing with a good melody. If you after clean sounding guitar pock or pop this is it. Looking for heavy metal. Nah.
The only problem I have with the disc is that there are too many songs in here. 14 is way too much, now I get tired and want to skip to another disc before it is finished, but besides that, killer stuff.
