Subject: a/amos_tori/winter.tab Title: Winter (incomplete but what's there is accurate) Album: Little Earthquakes Artist: Tori Amos Tabber: oliverchainsaw Email: jackdaw1055@hotmail.com Okay, here's an attempt at a version of Winter for guitar as most of the ones I've found out there are really just _appalingly_ bad. This is fingerstyle of course, though I'd suggest using the odd strum or brush/roll in place of some of the pinches. Standard Tuning. Capo on the eleventh fret ideally, in which case all tab is relative to capo. And you'll actually be in the right key, octave and everything. woo hoo. | | | | | | | | |--------0---0-2-5-------5---2---|3-------5---------------0-------| |--------0---0---3-------5-------|1-------3-------3-------0-------| |------------------------2-------|----0-------0---2---------------| |2-------2-----------4-----------|--------------------2-------0-2-| |----2-----------2---------------|3---------------0---------------| |0-------------------------------|--------------------------------| | | | | | | | | |--------0---0-2-5-------0---2---|3-----2-----0-------------------| |--------0---0---3---------------|3-------1---0-----------0-------| |------------------------2-------|----0---------------2-----------| |--------2-----------4-----------|------------2---------------0-2-| |----2-----------2---------------|3-----------0-------------------| |0-------------------------------|--------------------------------| | | | | | | | | |--------0---0-2-5-------5---2---|3-------5---------------0-------| |--------0---0---3-------5-------|1-------3-------3-------0-------| |------------------------2-------|----0-------0---2---------------| |--------2-----------4-----------|--------------------2-------0-2-| |----2-----------2---------------|3---------------0---------------| |0-------------------------------|--------------------------------| | | | | | | | | |--------0---0-2-5-------0---2---|----------------3-----2-----0---| |--------0---0---3---------------|----Time sig----3-------1---0---| |------------------------2-------|-----change---------0-----------| |--------2-----------4-----------|------here------------------2---| |----2-----------2---------------|-----I think----3-----------0---| |0-------------------------------|--------------------------------| | | | | | | | | |--------------------------------|--------0---0-----------0---2---| |--------0---------------0-------|--------0-------3---------------| |----2-------2-------2-----------|----------------2-------2-------| |----------------------------0-2-|--------2-----------4-----------| |--------------------------------|----2-----------2---------------| |--------------------------------|0-------------------------------| | | | | | | | | |3-------5---------------0-------|--------0---0---------------0-2-| |1-------3-------3-------0-------|--------0-------3---------------| |----0-------0---2---------------|----------------2-------2-------| |--------------------2-------0-2-|--------2-----------4-----------| |3---------------0---------------|----2-----------2---------------| |--------------------------------|0-------------------------------| | | | | | | | | |3-----2-----0-------------------|--------0-0-0-2-------------0-2-| |3-----------0-----------0-------|------0-0---0---3-3-1-3---------| |----0---------------2-----------|----------------2-------2-------| |------------2---------------0-2-|--------2-----------------------| |3-----------0-------------------|----2-----------2---------------| |--------------------------------|0-------------------------------| | | | | | | | | |3-------5-------------0-0-------|--------0---0-----------0---2---| |1---------------3-------0-------|------0-0-------3---------------| |----0-------0---2---------------|----------------2-------2-------| |--------------------2-------0-2-|--------2-----------4-----------| |3---------------0---------------|----2-----------2---------------| |--------------------------------|0-------------------------------| and so on with variations for a while... I think that's pretty close to the intro/first verse stuff but... she plays with a great deal of attention to nuance/variation and therefore you should probably feel free to shift things hither and yon in order to really get it sounding all perfect and such. I'm a terrible bastard for only giving you this much, but I'll try to tackle the rest (and, er, fix any mistakes I doubtless made in this) soon as I can and in the meantime you've a good place from which to start now I think... If anybody out there has any good Tori arrangements for fingerstyle guitar please post them and I will worship you forever.
