In my opinion, this is a truly amazing song, not just for the great harmonies and lyrics, but also because it honestly tells so much of what I've been experiencing in my own current relationship. I couldn't have written it any better (well, except maybe for that "crucify" part!) At any rate, hope you enjoy. This is my first tab post, all my own work, and I'm almost certain everything's correct, but it's probably best to listen closely to the song a few times to make your own adjustments if needed. If you have any suggestions / comments / corrections / good jokes to tell, email me (Dave) at: Bosngahden@aol.com * means mute the high 'e' string when playing these chords during intro & verse 1 (use the pinky on your strumming hand). The song follows a very straight-forward, 8 beats to-the-measure strumming pattern. Lyrics in (parentheses) are background vocals, harmonized with the lyrics right above or to the left of them.
