Subject: b/beatles/dr_robert.tab Date: Wed, 21 May 1997 17:52:36 -0500 From: "BrianS." Doctor Robert (Lennon/McCartney) Chorus: Just in B. Chord Progression(verse): (A,D,).....(F#,B,).....E, F#, (B,E,)... A. Note: What is meant by the parentheses is that the guitar alternates between these chords. During the AtoD switches it sounds like he's playing this: 1---------------------------------------------------------- 2-------------2--------3---------------------------------- 3-------------2--------2-----0--------------------------- 4-------------2--------0---------------------------------- 5-----0--------------------------------------------------- 6--------------------------------------------------------- The next chords(F#-B) he plays something like this: F# B 1---------------------------------------------------------- 2--------------------------4------------------------------- 3-----------3-------------4------------------------------- 4-----------4-------------4------------------------------- 5-----------4---------------------------------------------- 6---0_2---2---------------------------------------------- The E chord after that is just an open E. The last alternating chords are: B E 1--------------------------------------------------------- 2----4--------------5------------------------------------ 3----4--------------4------2---------------------------- 4----4--------------2------------------------------------ 5----2--------------------------------------------------- 6--------------------------------------------------------- The lead after the 2nd verse goes: 1---------2----------------------------------------------- 2--------------------5/4----4/5----------5/4----------- 3---4---------4---------------------4-------------------- 4--------------------------------------------------------- 5--------------------------------------------------------- 6--------------------------------------------------------- The rest of his lead guitar plays stuff like the above but in the other chord positions.
