On the album, the first verse has the guitar playing on its own and then the bass etc kicks in for the second verse. When playing on a single guitar I find it effective to use the chords given below for the first verse, which are higher up the fret board, and then using the traditional 'bassier' chords for the rest. Give both a try and use which ever you prefer.
