Strum according to how the drums sound. In the intro, pick (with either
your finger or pick) the first and second strings before strumming, to
simulate the two notes from the piano before each measure. For example,
in the very beginning of the song, the two notes are E (first string)
followed by D (second string) - making it A_maj9? (see below) - then
strum the A chord.

Chord chart:

A x02220
A_maj9 x02240
Bm 224432
D xx0232
E 022100
Em_maj7 022040
F#m 244222
G 355433

Intro: (A_maj9) A Em_maj7 Em_maj7 D
       (A_maj9) A Em_maj7 Em_maj7 D

    A Em_maj7 Em_maj7 D
How long... in... starts... begin

    A Em_maj7 Em_maj7 D
How long... decide... know... like

    A Em_maj7 Em_maj7 D
Where to... go... try... know

    A Em_maj7 Em_maj7 D
How long... climb... side... mine

(Repeat for second verse)

Chorus 1 (& 2):

    G A Bm Bm
       All... noise... sound

    G A Bm Bm
       All... places... found

    G Bm D G
    Birds... speed... show... began

    G Bm F#m G
    Birds... underground... see... understand

The last chorus (my favorite):

    G A Bm E
       All... signs... meant... can invent

    G A Bm E
       Some... made... sent... ooh

    G Bm D G
    Birds... speed... show... began

    G Bm F#m G
    Birds... underground... see... understand

    F#m G
    see... understand
