Date: Sat, 24 Mar 2001 16:08:22 -0500 From: "Laura Lynn McWilliams" (by way of cathal) Subject: c/coldplay/yellow.crd "Yellow" by Coldplay from Parachutes, 2000 transcribed Feb 3, 2001 by Laura McWilliams updated Mar 24, 2001 -I added a bunch of other versions that people had sent me, so there are quite a few different ways to play it. ======================================================================= NOTES: the chords that were already up for this song were all right, but i don't think that is the way they actually play it. I've split it into 3 guitar parts, but it could easily be played with just 2. ======================================================================= TUNE DOWN 1/2 STEP!!! (note: although guitar parts 2 and 3 could be played with standard tuning, all tab in this file assumes tuned down 1/2 step) ======================================================================= GUITAR 1 (plays rhythm only) strum chords throughout INTRO: B.. In this transcription, I used special chords to mix the rythmic and solo guitar parts. It sounds better when played alone... Also, I didn't tune down half a step. But David electric guitar's transcription, once transposed, should stick to these chords...
