This was originally posted by Don Bates (donbates@qwest.com) and
his original post was influenced by the Edmunds cover of this John
Fogerty tune (and the original recording by Fogerty).  Don and I
exchanged emails and he agreed that this version matched "Almost
Saturday Night" as recorded on Premonition, the 1999 live release.

This sounds great on an acoustic guitar! (Intro Tab to come soon!)

Since Don's transcribed version addresses a version influenced by
Edmunds and the original released version, it is included at the
bottom of this post.
