Subject: d/dandy_warhols/nietzsche.tab Dandy Warhols - Nietzsche from the album 'thirteen tales from urban bohemia' transcribed by J. Cain This song is pretty simple like most of their stuff. The strum pattern is very easy, probably the most familiar chord progression in rock music. Chord progression: E5 - A5 - G5 - A5 This progression is repeated throughout the song on an acoustic guitar, and doubled at some times by an electric with heavy distortion and phaser. When the electric isn't doubling the chord progression it is making various ambient effect sounds, probably with other effects piled on. Riff 1 structure: A x 4 - B x 2 - A x 2 Riff 1 part A e |------------------------------------------------------------------ B |------------------------------------------------------------------ G |------------------------------------------------------------------ D |---------------7------9------------------------------------------- A |---7---9--10-------9-----10--7------------------------------------ E |------------------------------------------------------------------ Riff 1 part B e |------------------------------------------------------------------ B |------------------------------------------------------------------ G |---9----7----6---------------------------------------------------- D |------------------7----9------------------------------------------ A |----------------------------10----7------------------------------- E |------------------------------------------------------------------ After the third verse, the riff doesn't play during the first two times through the chord progression, then starts with part B and plays through normally.
