forenote: 
brackets indicate the transition bass notes and you can play the chords to them in way of changing to the next chord. By this I mean, for example, play E for three fourths of the first bar, then before changing to C#m, which is the next chord, strum G#m once. It follows the same from from C# to B, and then following B, strum the chords, A, G#m, F#m, E, all once as a sort of descending bass riff. well, you get the idea. Also, when i play this song, i sorta whimsically alternate between E and E/B so both will do as fine. Love the song, and wanted to play it myself but theres only one other tab online, and its by Zachary at . You can view it at http://www.guitaretab.com/c/coldplay/25494.html, but its in D major, and is actually a really different tab of an old Coldplay live version. Anyway, i got round to figuring this out for myself and its my first tab and sorta my way of contributing back to the tab community. so well, hope it helps. cheerio.
