(watch the video). It looks like a Gretsch is used to play the riff, and Gibson Les Pauls, and some other guitars are used thoughout the rest of the song. But who knows how they recorded it anyway. I am however partial to Gibson Les Pauls, and believe this whole song sounds great played through one anyway. "Until I Hear It From You" -by the Gin Blossoms Capo on the 2nd fret.
