Song: Underneath
Album: Underneath
Artist: Hanson
Chords by: madeline smith: resplendent_euphoria@yahoo.com

In the studio recording, they just start out on the G with "Wakin' up this morning...";
live (like on Underneath Acoustic or the UA Live DVD), they go through the G, D, C
progression twice, I think.

Standard tuning. Chords used:

G: 320003
D: 000232
C: 032010
Am: 002210
Bm: 224432
Em: 022000
A: 002220

G D C
Wakin' up this morning thinking this can't be real
G D C
But they say there is nothing love can't heal
G D C [Bm]
Why don't you come on down so you can feel what I feel?

Am G C
Sittin' all alone in this place, even though we're here face-to-face
Am G C
There is nothing gone, but there's something wrong

          G D Bm C G D
Can't you see that I'm stuck here underneath
           Bm C Em D
and you're makin' it hard to breathe?
       C Bm A
Take a look around and tell me what you see
            C D G D C
You'll find me...underneath...

           G D C
...underneath...

G D C
I know what to say but don't know where to begin
G D C
The fear of losing you beneath my skin
G D C [Bm]
Is there resolution for this pain that I'm in?

Am G C
Sittin' all alone in this place, even though we're here face-to-face
Am G C
There is nothing gone, but there's something wrong

          G D Bm C G D
Can't you see that I'm stuck here underneath
           Bm C Em D
and you're making it hard to breathe?
       C Bm A
Take a look around and tell me what you see
            C A
You'll find me...underneath
                             C D
'Cause, girl, you'll find me, oh-whoa

_________________________________
I watched Isaac closely when I saw them in Pittsburgh in August (right after I'd figured
out the chords) and the following seems to be what he was doing (I was especially proud
when I saw him do the A in the chorus). Isaac doesn't play the Bm in the verses, but
Taylor might hit it on the piano. You can take it or leave it, I guess. Any comments or
whatever: resplendent_euphoria@yahoo.com.
