Subject: i/incubus/a_crow_left_to_the_murder.tab A Crow left to murder - Incubus (Album - A crow left to the murder) TAbbed by Kelly Kristek All my own work friday 2-8-2004 8:55pm spumpkin_head@yahoo.com I figured this riff out on my acoustic it might not be PERFECT but sounds close to me.. Its off the album, sounds like he's got his nice PRS going into a slightly distorted tube amp to me.. no idea on the equiment sounds like he's changing alot on the album.. h= hammer on Main riff, played 2x (intro & verse same) ----------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------- ------4---------------------------------------------------- --4h6---6-4-6---------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------- -0---------------0-2-4---4-2-4-0--------------------------- Then this 1x and repeat both of these two for the verses ----------------------------------------------------------- ------4---------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------- --4h6---6-4-6-----------1---------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------- -0----------------0-2-4---4-2-4-0-------------------------- Then end these two with ------------------------ ------------------------ ------------------------ ------------------------ ------------------------ -0-2-0--222-0----------- Play the above a bunch then the chorus is just a simple G D B (I just use power chords for these guys these the fingering for the power cords) ------------------ ------------------ 4---7---4--------- 5---7---4--------- 5---5---2--------- 3----------------- for the quiet part its just a varaition with octave notes these: ------------------- ------------------- -4---7---9--------- ------------------- -2---5---7--------- ------------------- He strums them softly then starts doing his little pattern and right before he comes back to the verse he does these two octaves at the end of the ones above ------------------- ------------------- -12----10---------- ------------------- -10----8----------- ------------------- Then back to the clean verse a bunch then to end the song just strum this over and over again --------------------- ------4-------------- --------------------- --4h6---------------- --------------------- --------------------- __________________________________
