The thing that gives away that this song is tuned down half a step is the last chorus,
the rhythm guitar clearly hits an open Db powerchord there. You can do this with 2 guitars,
there's only more than that in the last chorus. And all I have to say about the solo is...
did you ever think you'd see that many notes that close together in a Linkin Park song?
It's an easy solo to tab and fairly easy to play correctly when you slow it down, but the
speed at which it's played is what makes it difficult. I might have some of the positionings
for this wrong, but I have all the notes correct. Also, Guitars 1 and 2 can be combined easily
into one part, I just notated them seperately because Brad obviously tracked the solo
seperately from the other guitar tracks. On the live version, Brad plays Guitar 1 until the
solo, Guitar 2 for the solo, Guitar 4 for the last chorus, and back to Guitar 1 for the outro.
Mike plays Guitar 3 during the solo (the octaves for the backing part), and Guitar 5 during the
last chorus. Guitars 1 and 3 are omitted during the last chorus on the live version.
Sorry about the alignment of the rhythm part under the solo, it's a straight 8th-note
strumming pattern but I had to mess with the spacing to align it with the lead guitar part.
