the opening sequence is just a picked version of the chords Bm
(224412)
and Em (022000). if you can contort you hand into a good Bm (which
i can't) then it shouldn't be a problem...

capo second fret

I debate that... My opinion is no capo, and the chords are.... C#m A

The opening sequence is C#minor (X46654) and A (577655) bar chords

Here I also have an alteration. I have noticed that the high notes
of the bar chords are left open.... I.e. an A bar (577655) is played
(577600). Therefore chords throughout are....

C#m (X46650)
A (577600)
F# (255400)
E (022100)
Bm (799800) so the open 1st and 2nd strings (B&E) can be played
*G# (466544) dont play open 1st and 2nd.. sounds terrible!
*F# (255422)
B (X24440)
*A (X02220)

The chords that are not played with the open 1st and 2nd are marked
with an asterisk (*) below.
