To: guitar@nevada.edu Subject: TAB: SITTING ON TOP OF THE WORLD BY AMANDA MARSHALL SITTING ON TOP OF THE WORLD -- Amanda Marshall Written by: Amanda Marshall, Copyright Metatune Inc. (SOCAN) This is a pretty simple but effective tune from Amanda's first release entitled Amanda Marshall. Rhythm guitar pattern is quite common and played pretty much throughout. I've included some tablature for the lead guitar riff as well (used in the intro and a few places as well). What really makes the tune is Amanda's vocal phrasing. I've tried to match the chord changes to the way she phrases the lyrics but don't let that throw you--the the rhythm guitar part is pretty steady and consistent throughout the entire tune.
