After listening to an acoustic version of this song - KaZaa rules (in the
moment) look for file "nine days - story of a girl (acoustic).mp3" -
I found following chords closer to this original.  No Bar chords are
necessary in the interlude - sounds absolutely great with two guitars and
sometimes a bit of backing vocals. Instead of the F# play the a D/F# (or
whatever its called - see below - its like the progression in Crowded
House's Four seasons in one day: Em,D/F#,G,Am). Therefore the progression
of the interlude in this song goes:
