Subject: Tab: Change by Oingo Boingo Song: Change Band: Oingo Boingo Album: Boingo / Farewell Live Written by: Danny Elfman Tabbed by: boingo692x@mail.telis.org This is a chord representation of the song. There are several solos that I will not be tabbing, it is sixteen minutes long. This should give you the basic gist of the song. If anyone has the tab for the whole song send it to Harmony Central and add it to the Oingo Boingo section of tab. Verse 1 C#4 B3 B3 C#4 F#3 Don't you ever wonder why ... E3 G#3 if it does it's for the worst ... C#4 B3 B3 C#4 F#3 Sometimes when I take a peek ... E3 G#3 everyone looks so asleep, ... Pre-Chorus A3 C#4 G#3 hey... don't ya know? ... A3 C#4 G#3 hey... whaddya say? ... Verse 2 C#4 B3 B3 C#4 F#3 Better dumb and happy than ... E3 G#3 better cute and better loud ... C#4 B3 B3 C#4 F#3 Keep up or be left behind ... E3 G#3 seems I can't see straight these .... Pre-Chorus A3 C#4 G#3 hey... don't you know? ... A3 C#4 G#3 hey... whaddya say? ... A3 F#3 hey... whaddya say? ... E3 please don't ever... Chorus C#4 B3 B3 C# F4 F4 oh god here's that ... C#4 B3 B3 C# F4 F4 the one that makes ... C#4 B3 B3 C# F4 F4 I'd gladly tear ... C#4 B3 B3 C# F4 F4 if you would never, never, ... Just to clarfiy, the octave number given are simply to show relativity. (ie, between F#3 and F4), as the song is played on the lowest octave on the guitar. This small riff is used throughout the song and can be used for the slowed down tempo in the interlude section of the song. Good basis for the solos.
