But im only tabbing the obvious parts. Try fading in alot to get the right effect. I use a volume pedal and a light distortion and it sounds just right. Intro: (slide all) D#:--///fade in///2---------------------------------------- A#:------------------8\7\5\3------------2/3\2~-2/3\2/3\2~-- F#:--------------------------2~-2/4\2~--------------------- C#:-------------------------------------------------------- Bridge: D#:--10~\9~-(12)---10~\9~/12~~~~~--<7>-------------------- A#:-----------------------------------<7>----------------- F#:------------------------------------------------------- C#:---------------------------------------5\\\fade out\\-- G#:---------------------------------------3\\\fade out\\-- C#:------------------------------------------------------- \\\\\\\\\\slide///////////// Chorus: D#:--15~\14~-14/15~\14~------0--15~\14~-14/15~/17~-- A#:------------------------3------------------------ F#:----------------------2-------------------------- C#:------------------------------------------------- G#:------------------------------------------------- C#:------------------------------------------------- \\\\\\slide/////// \\\\\\\slide////// 2nd time verse is played D#:----------------------------------------------- A#:-----2h3-33-2-----2h3-33-5---8\7\5\3----------- F#:-----2-2-22-2-----2-2-22-2------------2-2/4\2-- C#:--0------------0------------------------------- Most of the end is the same and then he starts to play along with the acoustic near the very end. Thats it! Enjoy. From: "Dimitry Krementsov" Subject: o/our_lady_peace/are_you_sad.tab Date: Mon, 20 May 2002 14:05:35 -0400 "Are You Sad", by Our Lady Peace By Dimitry Krementsov This is just an addition to the previously posted tab. The previously posted tab is very good, but I play it a little different. On the four low strings I basically play the same chord shapes as in the previous tab, but the two highest strings(B and E) I tune to A and D, resulting in DADGAD tuning (low to high), and I play these strings open along with some of the the chords voiced on the low strings. Try it for yourself, see which chords it works with. P.S. Everything I said above should actually be 1/2 step down to play along with the album, but you guys already knew that.
