Led Zeppelin - Prison blues-lyr.shtml

Now that the debate on whether Jimmy Page is awesome or not has subsided: This might be the right moment to contribute to the net with some lyrics from an album which I stumbled over the other day, when I visited the library: "Outrider". I just thought: let the man speak for himself and stuck the cassette into my walkman :-). Track after track with Jimmys patented riff style rythm guitar and Plant-like vocalists - Synth guitars and all. Plant was in fact on one of them :-) Excellent workmanship but nothing earthshaking IMHO. Then, all of a sudden a hear this awesome sound of an '59 Les Paul through an amp cranked up to eleven pooring out sheer Beano tones and starting off a straight 12 bar blues with Chris Farlow as a vocalist (and he is extremely good at it too). Here goes: ~Title: Prison Blues Album: Outrider (jimmy Page) Written By: Jimmy Page & Chris Farlow Vocals: Chris Farlow Guitar: Jimmy Page Drums: Jason Bonham Bass: {intro: '59 Les Paul and amp start oozing} {solo} {outro} -- Now, the lyrics are most likely a little off here and there but it should be quite close. I just had to share this one with you. The whole track just oozes. Yes, IMO Jimmy is an awesome player, when he gets his mind to it. --- Theo Kanter ELLEMTEL Telecommunication Systems Laboratories Box 1505, S-125 25 [lvsj| (AElvsjoe), Sweden Office: +46 8 727 35 93 Fax : +46 8 647 82 76 Telex : 12452 EUA S Mail : Theo.Kanter@eua.ericsson.se
