This song is a highlight from the concept album Operation: Mindcrime. I love
that album, so, taking a break from my mass Velvet Underground tabbing, did
this song for fun.

Note: Solo is very approximate! I had the whole thing written down on
notebook paper from painstakingly figuring out all the runs. Now that's gone
and you're stuck with the approximates below for this month. I'll fix it
next time.

/ = slide
~ = vibrato
h = hammer on
p = pull off
^ = bend
;;;;=hammer/slide/slice whatever you call it
s = pick repeatedly

LEAD-IN (one note)
E----------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------
D----------------------------------------------------
A-7^/----------------------------------------------
E----------------------------------------------------

Intro (guitar 1)

E-7-5-3--2-0-----0---------------------------------
B------------3-3------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------
D----------------------------------------------------
A----------------------------------------------------
E----------------------------------------------------
Play this over and over. I thought it was a chord at first but decided that
it wasn't.

Intro (guitar 2, repeat twice)

E----------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------
D-2---4---5---2---7---5----------------------------
A-2---4---5---2---7---5----------------------------
E-0---2---3---0---5---3----------------------------
Every time guitar 1 repeats that riff, play the chord listed. The bass makes
these chords sound a bit different in the song, don't worry about it.

VERSE (some muted riff I can't figure out plays first)

E----------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------
G-------------7-------------------------------12-7--
D-------------7-------------------------------12-7--
A--7-10-9~ -5-------------------7-10-12~ --10-5--

B----------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------
D-7---5---7---2--------------------------------------
A-7---5---7---2--------------------------------------
E-5---3---5---0--------------------------------------

Repeat that pattern for the next verse and then do the

CHORUS

E-3-2-0-----0----------------------------------------
B-------3-3------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------
D----------------------------------------------------
A----------------------------------------------------
E----------------------------------------------------
Play this over and over again too.

Play the verse again, chorus again, and now the solo:

SOLO

E-7^-5p3h5-10-7-3;;;;17-19-19^-17^--15h17h19p17p15
B------------------------------------------------------------
G------------------------------------------------------------
D-------------------------------------------------------------
A-------------------------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------------------------
Repeat the end pattern indicated by the arrow at the end.

E-17-15-14-12-10-7-5-3-2--0-0---0-2-0h2-3-2-2-3p2^-0-
B----------------------------3--------------------------------

SPOKEN BRIDGE SECTION

B-------3---3-----------------------------------------
G-----------------------------------------------------
D------------------7----------------------------------
A------------------7----------------------------------
E------------------5----------------------------------
...America fade into this chord, strum muted.

Repeat the chorus, and then do the intro riff, and that's it.

So for those of you not keeping track, this is the flow of the song:

Lead-In
Intro
Verse
Verse
Chorus
Verse
Chorus
Solo
Bridge
Chorus
Intro Riff

Maybe I'll work on more of this album too, and definitely fix the solo to
how I had it before.
