                 Kid A - Radiohead
                -------------------

                        From the album "Kid A"

                        Transcribed by Howard Wright

Not your typical guitar song this one, though two of the main
ideas (parts A and B below) work very well on guitar. Almost
the entire song is made up of just three parts: the "musicbox"
theme from the beginning of the song, and parts A and B.

I've written the "musicbox" part out in tablature - with a bit
of practice it can be played on one guitar, though it's easier
if it's broken up into two parts with one guitar playing the
lower notes.

I've written out the song structure below in terms of three
main parts.

Music box:
-----------

E--------------10--8---8------13----12--12--12----------10---
B------------------11--11--10-----------11--------13----10---
G------12--10--10-----------------------12--------12---------
D------12--------------10------------------------------------
A--13------12--------------------10-----10-----------10------
E------------------10------13------------------13------------

                                             ^
                                            ^^^
There's also a note at the 18th fret (top E string) with this note
at the 12th fret. If you're playing this part on one guitar this
is too much to reach, but if you split part across two guitars
you can play this bit with the high note as:

E----12--18----------10---
B----11--17----13----10---
G----12--------12---------
D-------------------------
A----10-----------10------
E-----------13------------

part A:
--------

E-----------------------------------------------
B-----------------------------------------------
G-----------------------------------------------
D---3-3---5-5---8--8-----7-7-------7-7---5-5----
A-----------------------------------------------
E---5-5---6-6---10-10----8-8-------8-8---6-6----

part B:
--------

E---3-3---3-3--3-3--3-3-------3-3---3-3-----3-3----5-5-----
B----------------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------------
D---5-5---3-3-----------------5-5---3-3--------------------
A-----------------------------7-7---------5-5----------3-3-
E---6-6---5-5---------1-1-----6-6---5-5--------1-1---------

(top string notes optional - or can be played by a second guitar)

Bass bit:
----------

G-------------------------------
D-------------------------------
A--1-3-3-3-3-3---1-3-3-3-3-3-3--
E-------------------------------

Song structure:
----------------

Musicbox x 2
Part A x 4 (musicbox continues)
Part A x 2 (+ musicbox + vocals)
