But, I watched the video (not to mention listening to the song) religiously) and I'm pretty sure it goes like this. This is my first attempt at tabbing, so be gentle wit me :) Main riff: E---------------------------------------------------------------------------- B---------------------------------------------------------------------------- G-------------5--------------------------5---------------------------5------- D-7--7--5--7--------7-----7--7--7--5--7--------7-----7--7--7--5--7-------7--5 A-0--0--0--0--------0-----0--0--0--0--0--------0-----0--0--0--0--0-------0--0 E---------------------------------------------------------------------------- E------------------------ B------------------------ G-7^---7^---5--7--5------ D-0----0----0--0--0--5--7 A--------------------0--0 E------------------------ I can't be sure about those last two notes, though. Verse: I think this is it: E----------------------- B---------------10------ G----------------------- D-7-------------------7- A----------------------- (etc) E----------------------- ^ | let note ring I've never used a Whammy pedal (i.e. I can't afford one) so I use my pitchshifter, set 16 notes below. It doesn't sound *quite* like Tom, but it's near enough. I'm not sure, actually, if this is played or whether it is some kind of funny trick he does withe the feedback. I get trouble getting the note to sustain the way he does. Let me know if you've figured it. Solo: Unless you have the same guitar as Tom, this will be pretty difficult. He puts his guitar right up to the amp and uses the toggle-switch effect on the feedback, manipulating the sound with his tremolo arm. The feedback you get from your guitar will probably be of a different pitch. Just experiment with this. I find it best to use my tone bender to get the right pitch. The Bit At The End: This is a Korean radio station that Tom accidentally picked up with his equipment. I've got no idea how he could have done this, but he did. Enjoy!
