Song: It's Not Alright to Say Everything's Ok Artist: Refused Album: Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent (track 6) Label: Burning Heart Tabbed By Edd Dawson. All my own work. Questions? Comments? Corrections? Shout at me at ma0etd@bath.ac.uk I'd tab out some of the ones I know. Does anyone know how to play coup d'etat? If so PLEASE tell me, I can't be bothered to work it out :) This song is in standard tuning: EADGBe (low to high) For this song use a lot of gain, a fair amount of treble and a lowish to medium bass setting; you want quite an attacky sound. You'll need to be able to chug pretty fast also to be able to play it well. I'd tried to give some sort of indication of timing - don't know how successful I was but you can't say I didn't try. A bit of notation: M = palm mute / \ = upward and downward slides respectively . = truncate the note soon after playing it i.e do not let it ring out. h = hammer on p = pull off Song structure Verse (a) x6 Verse (b) x2 Verse (a) x2 Chorus x2 Verse (a) x4 Verse (b) x2 Verse (a) x2 Ending x1 Now a small pause and then into Crusader of Hopelessness (which I've also posted the tab of - so go get!)
