Subject: s/saint_etienne/youre_in_a_bad_way.crd "You're In A Bad Way" by Saint Etienne Written by Wiggs/Stanley/Cracknell On "Too Young To Die" Transcribed by Robert Brighton There is an acoustic guitar part on the recording, but it's so far back in the mix I can't make out exactly what it's playing. It's originally in B. My personal preference is to stick a capo on fret 2 and play it in A, and that's how I've presented it here. Chords used: E7 A D Bm C#m F#m Dm E--0-----0------2-------2-------4-------2-------1- B--0-----2------3-------3-------5-------2-------3- G--1-----2------2-------4-------6-------2-------2- D--0-----2------0-------4-------6-------4-------0- A--2-----0--------------2-------4-------4--------- E--0------------------------------------2--------- Verse: (B) (E) (B) A D A Toast... and your coffee's cold... (E) (B) (E) (B) (C#m) (F#7) D A D A Bm E7 and you leave... post... nothing... bills again... (B) (E) (B) A D A home... put the TV... (E) (B) (E) (B) (C#m) (F#7) D A D A Bm E7 get your kicks... Bruce... old Gene-ration game... Chorus: (Ebm) C#m Just call... (Abm) F#m You're in... (E) (Em) D Dm You're in... day... (B) (Abm) (E) (F#7) A F#m D E7 Just... number... call my name...
