This is a fun song and is mostly a bass line and drums, but I wanted to play it on
acoustic. Here is what I came up with.

The song is in the key of A, so the main progression is A, D, E, A repeat, but I play
it with a capo on the second fret and therefore play it in the key of G. If that
makes no sense to you, just put the capo on the second fret and play the following:

Intro and main progression:

G - C - D - G

(G)I wanna be like (C)Captain Kirk
(D)Get up every day and love (G)to go to work
(G)Don't want to be like (C)Mr. Spock
(D)Want to kick out the jams and (G)rock the block

Chorus
(C)I just want to feel good
and (D)I don't want to hurt no(Em)body
(C)I just want to get a good (D)time out of my life

All chords are the same from here on out;

Verse 2: I wanna be like Cassias Clay...

Chorus

Verse 3: I wanna be like Jesus Christ...

Chorus

Note: I play the verses with barre chords so I can put some rhythm in it and then go to
open chords for the choruses.
