Sublime Badfish here, this is an sick bassline but it takes some people time to get the timing down, and some just pick it up right away. But my advice is to listen to the song and modify this to your pleasing since eric does so much improv. G ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- D ----------------7----------------------------------9---11--12\----------------------------------------- A ------------7-----------------------------------------------------------2/3\2----------2/3\3----------- E ----5--5--------------7---5---4---5---7----7----------------------3----------3--3-----------3------- G --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- D ---------7--7--7--7--7--7----------------------------------------------------------------------------- A ------------------------------------7---7--------------------------------------------------------------- E ----5--------------------------5------------------------------------------------------------------------ thats the verse, and the pre-chorus is........................ two pints of booze, tell me are you a badfish too...................... G --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- D --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A ---------------------------5--5-5--5--5-5-5----------------------------------------- E ---5-5--5-5--5-5--5-5------------------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-------------------- thats not the exact number of notes played of course, but each chord is in a 4/4 measure so just fool around with the rythm. then the next part is hell of easy, its just an A and a D with eric doing bits of improv,
