For the live version, slap on all your crazy fun effects and turn the distortion off and just let it ring. For the studio version, start at about the 12th fret and slowly pick scrape towards the lower regions of the fret board. Don't do a straight slide up, randomly move the pick upwards and downwards on your way, and really dig the pick into the strings. You can do a 6th or 12th fret harmonic, a deep bend on the 6th fret of the G string, another pick scrape or a (my favorite) a huge slide up to the 12th fret and pull out some major vibrato. Repeat that till youve broken the minds of all your friends. (Great for parties where everybodies on acid)
