Use open G tuning. (Low to high) DGDGBD (STRINGS 1,5,6 are brought down 1
step)
You can take the sixth string, and loosen it up so you can hook it around the
nut and off to the side of the fretboard. Or, you can deaden it, or you
can play all the chords with a 5 root.

D---0--0--5--0--3--0------------------------------------------------
B---0--0--5--0--3--0------------------------------------------------
G---0--0--5--0--3--0------------------------------------------------
D---0--0--5--0--3--0------------------------------------------------
G---0--0--5--0--3--0------------------------------------------------
D---0--0--5--0--3--0------------------------------------------------

The solos are just sliding around those frets, the 12th, the 15th, and the 17th. Using a slide helps, but you can use your finger or sometimes I use a pen.

With the open G tuning, you get a fuller sound with less effort. :)
