Hey, I have worked through and tabbed (all my own hard slog) a couple of
other travis songs this probably the simplest one on the album except for
sing, the only real difficulty i had was trying to figure out the strumming
pattern! For this song and a lot of other travis songs Fran uses some
really difficult ones, but once you have mastered the technique the song
will sound great!

*************IMPORTANT*************
CAPO 3rd fret

Chords:
Em-022000
C-032010 or 332010
D-xx0232
G-320033

Key:
h - Hammer on

Guitar 1 (chords)-Acoustic or electric (clean tone)-CAPO 3rd fret
Guitar 2 (melody)-Electric (echo presence tone)-No CAPO,Standard
tuning(eBGDAE)

(Guitar 1)Intro/Bridge- Em------------------------------------------

(Guitar 2 plays this riff during the intro):
    e|-------------------|
    B|-----10-8-6--------|
    G|---7--------7-10---|
    D|-------------------|
    A|-------------------|
    E|-------------------|(x4)

Verse 1- Em-------------C---------------D---------------Em (verse 1 starts
     Em-------------C---------------D----------------- with the singing)

Chorus 1- G-------------D---------------Em---------------C
      D-----------------------------------------------

Bridge- same as intro- leads into verse 2
(guitar 2 plays the same riff as in the intro)

Verse 2- same as verse 1

Chorus 2- same as chorus 1

Bridge 2- same as bridge 1- leads into guitar interlude
(guitar 2 plays same riff as in intro again)

Interlude/solo- as guitar 2 plays the solo, strum these chords

    Em-----------------------C-------------------------
    Em-----------------------C-------------------------
    Em-----------------------C-------------------------
    D-------------------------------(leads into chorus)

(Guitar 2 solo)-
e|-----10---8---6---5---6------------------| (the part of the riff
    B|---8----8---8---8---8---(8-8-8-8-8-8-8-6)| enclosed in brackets is
G|-----------------------------------------| only played the 3rd time)
    D|-----------------------------------------|
    A|-----------------------------------------|
    E|-----------------------------------------|(x3)

Chorus 3- Same as chorus 1 except play it twice this time

Outro-(same as into and bridge)
    Em------------------------------------------------------
    ------------------------------------------------(play this
    chord until the end).

(guitar 2 plays the same riff during the outro,as in the intro with an added
little bit shown bellow)
    e|-----------------------------|(repeat until end)
    B|-----------------------------|
    G|-----7-10-7-10-7-10-7-7-7h10-|
    D|-----------------------------|
    A|-----------------------------|
    E|-----------------------------|

I hope this is simple enough to follow, for any advice on how to master the
strumming tecnique, then please email me at Mogk57@aol.com, or if you have
any corrections or suggestions contact me at the same address.
Bye

I think for the intro part goes like this:  Still capo 3, but there is an
alteration of Em, with a kind of B5 thing, last one is with just the 2 on
the A string and all open strings.

It just sounded that there was something missing in the chord….also
this change occurs in the verses when Em is played.

E -----0----------0---------0-------0--------0--------0----------

B -----0----------0---------0-------0--------0--------0----------

G -----0----------0---------0-------0--------0--------0----------

D -----4----------2---------0-------2--------0--------2----------

A -----2----------2---------2-------2--------2--------2----------

E -----0----------0---------0-------0--------0--------0----------
