Transscription to U2's Pride
Taken from 'Rattle and Hum'
By Martijn van Welie
This song consists of two parts. Part one is the main riff of the song.
Part two is the 'bridge' section. On the album the Edge uses a Fender
Stratocaster with the bridge pickup, as can be seen in the movie
Ratlle and Hum. I don't know exactly which effects he uses but I
play it with a delay (0.40 s), some reverb, compressor and some chorus.
If you want to play along with the record, tune down 1/2 step to Eb.
^ = upstroke
v = downstroke
H = hammer on
P = pull off
X = rake

Note.
Remember that the speed of the song depends on the delay time.
If you don't play in time with the delay the solo is one big mess.
On 'Rattle and Hum' the delay time is +/- 0.40 s.
