This is a day in the life by David Usher. I’m going to figure out some stuff from
his new album, if god had curves, seeing as how no one else has. I’m going to
write instructions with each chord labeled with number (partly because I don’t
know the correct names)

For the intro, all the chords are bar chords, so you play the A on the 5th fret,
Cmin on the 4th, bmin on the 2nd, and D is just a D (if you don’t know what a
“D” is, you’re an idiot and a failure at guitar).
Intro: A, Cmin, Bmin, and D

Here’s the hard part. It’s the same sort of pattern/chords, but they’re not
barred. Only strum the last four strings:
   Verse Chords:

   A3 D3 Cmin3 Bmin3 D*
 e--0-------- e--2---- e---4---- e---2---- e---7-----
 b--5-------- b--2---- b---5--- b---3--- b---7----
 g--6-------- g--2--- g---6-- g---4---- g---7----
 d--7-------- d--4---- d---6-- d----4-- d---0------

Now, the chorus is simple, easy chords with a Bmin stuck in there, same Bmin
as in the intro.

A3 D3 Cmin3 Cmin3
Did you feel small today when everyone had gone
               Bmin3 Bmin3 D* D*
'Cause I was beaten up and jaded by the news
A3 D3 Cmin3 Cmin3
And underneath the skin the truth is breaking through
             Bmin3 Bmin3
So they just sewed me up and spit me out
D* D*
And I can't change it
D* D*
I can't change this

A E
You you take away the world
E Bmin
And I don't even know myself now
Bmin D
So how can I know you
A E
And I don't want to die
E Bmin
And I don't want to leave this place yet
          D
Just give me one more try

(Repeat the intro again, and after every chorus, and the chord
progression is the same for all the verses and choruses)

My thoughts are floating as reality explodes
I'm whispering to each of you my friends
And every moment seems to freeze frame through the room
All the colors are electrified
But I can't see now
I can't see now

You you take away the world
And I don't even know myself now
So how can I know you
And I don't want to die
And I don't want to leave this place yet
Just give me one more try

(Here, just play an Fmin, and figure out the rhythm from the song)

And I'm drifting through myself again
Tell me how I got so high
Where the conscience bends the air is thin
And I can't change it
I can't change this

You you take away the world
And I don't even know myself now
So how can I know you
And I don't want to die
And I don't want to leave this place yet
Just give me one more try
And I don't want to die
And I don't want to leave this place yet
Just give me one more try

One more try, yeah
Just give me one more try
One more try, yeah
Just give me one more try

Thanks for reading this, seeing as how its basically one of the very few guitar
tabs for David Usher songs. I dont know why, he's a great singer, and artist.
If you can, get 'morning orbit' by him. Its the best album (i think) by him.
I'll be back soon with "love will save the day". I just have to figure it out
whole. If you have any corrections suggestions, or wanna tell me im a fucker
for listening to David Usher, then e-mail me at: gordoncampbellisdrunk@hotmail.com

peace, and buy a gibson
